The Sidmouth QUEST

I went to Sidmouth, East Devon yesterday to give a talk about Severe Dials. My thanks to Tanya and Hannah from Sidmouth Library for a full room, lots of discussion about hidden history, the lost past, a royal Mint in Exeter, and more questions than I could answer.

I have been travelling back and forth from London to Sidmouth for over 35 years, and the book was written in nearby Exmouth, so it seemed the ideal place to discuss the background to the story and the extraordinary life of Thomas Neale. More talks are planned in 2026, so please continue to follow the Quest. Hopefully, a talk, reading or signing somewhere near you next year.
